Damian has been in the coaching profession for over 14 years and has worked with both recreational and professional athletes alike. He is extremely passionate about teaching others to develop and hone their skills, as well as athletic performance. CrossFit and strength & conditioning training are a way of life for him. Damian holds a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science having followed the 'applied coaching pathway'. He holds various other qualifications that can be viewed below and has coached both home and abroad for several years. He has travelled to teach in various countries including Sweden, Poland and Germany. He also travels to study and learn from some of the best CrossFit and S&C mentors from around the world.
Damian co-owns a Strength and conditioning company which formed in 2009 and later opened his first gym in 2011, he is also a former CrossFit Affiliate owner. Damian is also a member of the British Armed Forces and currently serves with the 4th Battalion Parachute Regiment. His love for coaching extends to this field and in 2016 he set up a functional training facility for A Coy 4 Para in Scotland where he trains and applies S&C programming to other Paratroopers. By pushing themselves to the physical limit and developing high levels of determination and mental robustness; it forms and enhances some of the vital attributes essential to any tactical athlete. Without these qualities one would struggle to achieve personal goals and succeed at completing objectives/tasks set in front of them.
Damian's mission in life is to help as many people as possible whilst sharing the knowledge and experience he has from working in the profession. Helping athletes and performers achieve their goals and supporting them on their journey is of the upmost importance to him.
